It seems pretty simple to set our goals toward success. Still, the process involves the use of many tools. A lot of people actually set out with a very poor toolbox in the beginning and they don’t reach the place they were hoping to reach. In order to have a winning plan for success in life, there are certain things that are just obvious, required tools that everyone should have if they hope to be successful person. At the top of the list is the ability to change your circumstances when you aren’t happy with the place you now exist. This requires the first tool known as courage.
If you plan to be successful in life, you have a choice to either accept your position or change it. You can’t decide to just plug along in your present condition hoping that someone else will change things for you. You have to create the opportunity in yourself to make a change and this requires courage. Often, people who are stuck in an abusive situation will feel as though they are trapped, controlled, and powerless to get out of that situation. They don’t realize that they have the same choice of changing their circumstances as anyone else. What paralyzes them is the fear of the unknown. They have become comfortable in their abusive situation and they don’t have the courage to break out of it. If you find yourself in circumstances that are obviously lowering your chance of success in life, then you need to change those circumstances. Courage is the first tool that will help you to begin.
After courage, there is another primary tool that you will need in your toolbox. The next major tool that is required is the willingness to persevere toward your goal.
Once you begin to apply the tool of courage, you will immediately be hit with a series of problems and difficulties in your new attempt to become successful. This is especially true in the first few weeks of your new direction in life. Because of this, you will also need the tool of willingness to persevere because courage may only last for a short time. Willingness, however, is a powerful tool that is even stronger than mere courage. It gives you the energy to keep fighting toward your success even in the face of difficulties and challenges. It gives you the ability to keep going no matter what.
Once you make it through those first few weeks on your new direction in life, you are going to need another tool that is even stronger than courage or willingness. You are going to need a solid plan that will be founded on your good sense and your capacity for reasoning and rationality. Courage is great and willingness is even better. These are great to begin with but a courageous attitude and striving ahead with the willingness to achieve success isn’t going to be enough. In order to get you to the top of the mountain, you are going to need more. Eventually, you will need a solid plan to keep you on track and to help you avoid all the difficulties you are going to encounter. You may develop a more rational and reasonable plan for success with a friend or by yourself but you are going to need that plan to be well thought out. Then you are going to have to go back and re-apply your willingness and your courage to put that plan back into action each day.
After a considerable period of time, working in a courageous manner with the willingness to persevere and to think reasonably and rationally in life, you will be well on your way to success. Many people make great strides in their life by simply applying these three tools for success.
What finally arrives as the cherry on the sundae, and which they eventually discover as the greatest tool of all, only comes after first going through the difficult times with courage, willingness and reasoning. Through the use of these three tools, a successful individual may eventually encounter the most powerful tool of Love and this tool may transform their life so as to make everything, which had previously seemed difficult, seem extremely easy and enjoyable.
Using the four tools of success, a person may eventually develop a toolbox which includes the greatest set of abilities a person can acquire. This toolbox filled with courage, willingness, reason and love will make a successful person of anyone and insure them of happiness and fulfillment in everything they do!

I’m a success. It wasn’t easy getting here, and it’s certainly not easy staying here. But I’m a success, and I’m here to share my experience and knowledge with you. This is going to be fast and furious. I have a lot of ground to cover, and not much time. Stick with me, however, and you can find the success inside of you too.
Success is simple. It is not easy. It is not something that can be ‘cut and pasted’ into your mind. It is not something that can be replicated by calling a hotline and making 3 easy monthly payments (plus shipping and handling). Success means effort. It means sacrifice. It means getting up with a purpose and staying focused. It means learning how to role with the punches. It means getting yourself together and kicking negativity out of your mind. There are so many methods, products and services out there right now trying to sell you success-on-tap. That is just so much nonsense. Reading a book is very different from applying the lessons. One makes you intellectual, the other makes you successful. Before going any further, ask yourself whether or not you are ready to graduate from intellect to success.
From now on, I am going to discuss some life lessons. From each of these lessons will come knowledge. This knowledge will form the body of the lessons that I am going to be bringing to you periodically. Use this knowledge. From artist to engineer, entry-level employee to CEO, you will undoubtedly become successful. These articles will provide a helping hand for you.
Lesson 1: Success Is Waiting Within Each Of Us
When I was young, I spent a lot of time watching TV or playing video games. My parents both worked, volunteered for their church, and were raising three of us. Because of that, I was able to skate by unnoticed because I kept to myself. As far as anyone was concerned, I was a good, polite, quiet kid. I just didn’t do very much beyond school or chores. I was frustrated. Then came drugs and alcohol. I used to think that my slacking in high school was because I was irresponsible. My problem was actually that I was UNDER-responsible. I was not actively seeking things to invest my time and effort in. I did not know that I could be important. I did not know that I could be taken seriously.
The Army changed that. I found myself having more responsibility than ever. My job was important. Other people’s lives depended on my ability to SUCCESSFULLY do my job. I felt utilized. I found out an important thing: I was much more content being engaged and active than I ever was when my life was on autopilot.
Is this true of you? Have you felt that you were destined for more than you are currently doing? Have you noticed that the only days you love your job are the days when you get to feel useful? If you’re still not sure whether you need to be a success, then I’d challenge you to bear some things in mind. There are nearly 7 billion people on this planet right now. This world is also undergoing a period of fragile uncertainty. We face real problems. Too many mouths to feed. To many consumers and not enough resources. The news bombards us with stories about AIDS, Cancer, and economic recession. There is one universal cure for all of these problems. It is the one cure that has always fixed the world’s problems. It is simple: Successful people, armed with focus, passion, and purpose. Who are you to deprive the world of your talents? What makes successful people successful?

We would all love to be able to walk down to the local supermarket and pick up a bottle of success. But let’s look past that fantasy and find out one of the most basic reasons why people become successful.

Right now, think of someone that you know personally who is successful. Can you see their face in your mind?

Good.

Now ask yourself this question, “Does this person have a successful routine or set of habits that makes them successful?” I would be shocked if they didn’t.

Sometimes the only difference between being successful and being average is having successful habits. Some examples of successful habits could be getting up earlier, doing thing when they need to be done, being prepared, or effective time management.

So how do you start to build these success habits in your life? Here are 4 tips on creating successful habits.

1. Identify – Find the areas in your life that need changing. Write down these new habits that need to be formed. Don’t become overwhelmed at trying to figure out how you are going to form all of these habits.

2. Pick 2 – Most people sabotage themselves by trying to change everything at once. Instead, pick one major and one minor habit that you want to form. For the next 30-90 days these will be the success habits that you will create.

3. Start small – Now that you have your two success habits, create a daily or weekly routine that is easy to follow. For instance, let’s say that you want to wake up an hour earlier so that you can get more successful things done. Instead of setting your alarm an hour earlier right at the beginning, only set it 2-5 minutes earlier every morning until you reach your goal. This way it would take you 30 days or 12 days respectively to create your success habit.

Remember, the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time.

4. Repeat – Once you have created your new habits move on to the next 2 success habits that you want to create. Before you know it you will have created a whole new life full of success filled habits.

Just imagine where you will be in one year if you follow these four keys to creating successful habits. If it takes you only 60 days to create 2 habits, you will have created 12 success habits in just one year!

However, because YOU are now armed with the awesome knowledge and powerful process that WILL manifest your dreams, you are able to appreciate the value of these advantage points.  Start applying these steps, as soon as possible, and all of your dreams will be physically placed on your path, for the purpose of pure pleasure:  1.    The gardener not only takes the time to select the specific seed, he desires to manifest, but he does not doubt, for a second, that the seed knows how to make it all happen, and all he has to do is insert the seed into the soil.  It does not matter if you never looked at it, like this before, but the truth of the matter is that your desires are seeds that contain the complete code for fruition.  If you desire a black pair of Timberland boots, the desire for this specific set carries with it, the perfect plan to obtain those exact boots.  You have to choose if you will accept the seed or cast it aside.  If the same desire keeps coming up, that means you keep casting it aside, and if it has not manifested physically, then that means you worried yourself with, “How much it was going to cost?” and “How on earth am I going to pull this off?”  STOP throwing away your seeds by concerning yourself with HOW it will happen and WHAT it will cost.  Prepare the soil (Mind), by selecting the specific seed YOU want to be planted.  When I desired my Movado watch, I instantly “accepted the seed” and I didn’t worry about dollars, days or an outline. 2.    After the gardener inserts the seed into the soil, the thought that his flowers might not or will not flourish NEVER crosses his mind.  Why do we worry, the way we do, and why do we doubt that we will never get what we want???  Little did we realize, until now, that our doubt IS the very reason why we WILL NOT get what we want.  You can have your heart set on anything you desire, but if you don’t think you will get it, then you are right and you won’t get it.  We must do what the gardener does, which is KNOWING that once the seed is in the soil, we actually believe that we have already received our outcome, while waiting, with excited anticipation, for the final culmination.  3.    The gardener doesn’t let a day go by where he isn’t watering his garden area and expecting that any day now he will have his bountiful harvest.  After our minds are made up, we will be required to water them, with adoring thoughts, anticipating all the enjoyment that is to come our way.  Every day, we will be pleased with our present progress, expecting a full fledge manifestation, at anytime.  As you can now see, from the way the gardener goes about it, expectancy isn’t about forcing ourselves to believe but rather, free flowing knowing.  You have just been given the keys to the Kingdom.  NOW…try to give me one good reason why you can’t manifest your dreams with the same speed and genuine joy that the gardener does his garden.  Take all the time you need to study these steps and allow yourself to start taking your dreams, out of the draw.  As soon as you have your soil (Mindset) properly prepared, the formula will be waiting for you, ready to begin blossoming, all of your dream schemes.

Depending on the circles that you run in, you may or may not have heard about a very powerful force in your life that is called the Law of Attraction. It’s powers are literally limitless and utilizing those powers is absolutely free of charge!
Who doesn’t want Unlimited Cosmic Power without even having to bust open their wallet?
I will start with a brief introduction to the Law of Attraction, and then I will get right into how you can use this universal power for something that a lot of people care about losing weight!
In simple terms, the Law of Attraction basically states that “like attracts like”. Whatever thoughts and feelings that you focus on the most will literally determine your future.
In fact, the Law of Attraction has already been working for you and every other life form in our universe since the beginning of time. However, only recently has education about its incredible power become readily available to the general public.
So how is it that the Law of Attraction can help you to lose weight? Simple you just need to think about it! Sounds easy enough, right?
Well, it actually is just that easy, but an explanation of exactly how you are supposed to “think” will help you to understand this process better. You can then take that knowledge and use it to help you with your weight loss or fitness goals.
Earlier I said that the Law of Attraction has been working for all life since the beginning of time, which begs the question, “Then why haven’t I lost any weight yet?”. In fact, that same question could be asked about pretty much any other goal that anyone has ever had. If all we have to do is think about something in order to bring it into our lives, then why aren’t we all rich, perfectly healthy, and living happily ever after?
The simple answer is that most people without even knowing it don’t really think about what they want. They think about the fact that they DON’T have it. Now, if you’ll go back briefly to the definition of the Law of Attraction like attracts like then you will see that the reason why people don’t have the things that they want is because all they ever do is think about NOT having those things.
This same concept applies to weight loss and health just as efficiently as it applies to everything else. A lot of people want to lose weight, but rather than think about how wonderful their life will be once they have lost the weight, they instead think about how miserable they are because they HAVEN’T lost the weight!
Think about it. If you need to lose weight, which of the following statements describes your thoughts/feelings when you walk in front of a mirror without any clothes on:
a)I am so sexy since I have my weight under control, and I have an unlimited amount of confidence. I can date anyone that I please and my biggest problem is deciding which little tiny piece of clothing to wear to the beach or the swimming pool.
b)I am so FAT! I can’t even stand to look at myself in the mirror, so how can I expect anyone else to want to look at me? I’ll be lucky if I don’t have to take my clothing size up another notch or two at the rate I’m going.
Now, be honest. Which one of those statements do you think comes closer to the way that people who need to lose weight think of themselves?
Once again referring back to the Law of Attraction If you think miserable, sad, guilty, or low self-esteem powered thoughts, then the Law of Attraction will dutifully bring you more things to be miserable about. In fact, the more miserable you are about any particular subject say, weight loss the more powerfully you will attract more of the same since that is your primary focus.
So, the answer to utilizing the power of the Law of Attraction for weight loss is to simply stop thinking about your situation in such a negative manner! Start thinking positive thoughts, confident thoughts, and thoughts of happiness, smaller clothing sizes, and showing more skin at the beach.
When you successfully do those things, the Law of Attraction will start to move around the chess pieces that affect your life, and before you know it, you will have whatever it is that you need in order to finally get in shape.
It may come in the form of a free gym membership, a workout partner, a piece of home exercise equipment that you actually want to use, a new motivation to get involved in some sort of physical activity, or any number of other things that will put you on the path to weight loss.
Here’s the rub, though You can’t sit around and get hung up on the details. Mike Dooley said it best in the movie ‘The Secret’ “The How’s are the domain of the Universe!”
You don’t need to worry about HOW it is going to happen, you just have to feel the positive, confident emotions that will MAKE it happen. The Universe will then step in and show you the path!

In this excerpt, Dax Moy shares on how he became a student of success.The Fountain of Youth World Summit with Dax Moy, one of the four most successful achievement coaches for personal trainers in the world.Kevin: So, Dax I want to welcome you aboard to the Fountain of Youth World Summit.Dax: Hey Kevin, my personal friend, it is great to be here with you.Kevin: I have had interviews with you before and this one is just going to be 100 times better, if that is even possible. Why don’t you tell us and everyone on board right now where you started with your success programming, and we will move from there.Dax: Oh wow! Where I started with my success programming? Well, that’s a pretty interesting question because I guess just like most people; I started with my successes through getting fed up with idiots, to be quite honest. And you know, again, like most people I was a person who had big dreams, big visions of most of the things that I kind of wanted to achieve. And to be quite honest, by most people’s standards even up to the point before I really got involved in the success industry I benefited; I kind of be involved in the forces, with the special forces quite closely, you know, did a lot of great things that would have stressed most people, but on legal forces; what I found was to be successful on that little pond, sort of speak, want to go out into the big, bad world; I didn’t felt successful at all. I struggled to find work; I spent a bit of time on social security; I could barely pay the bills, you know, I had the government look after me and my family. And to be quite honest, I was sick of it. I’ve always been a pretty great ruler, you know, ever since I was a kid — It was just about that time that the success literature really started to appeal to me a lot more.
I guess, before that time, I don’t know whether I should say that I was a cynic, but I was definitely skeptical about a lot of this stuff. I was really; I really and truly felt that most of the success literature that was out there was some kind of a guy in a suit trying to rip you off. Trying to tell you, it was a way that some guy in a flashy looking suit, with a gold cream hair and a big colorful tie telling you, buy this and after two weeks of reading it you are going to be a millionaire. You know, I was always skeptical to say it, to say the least, but I sat down and read over some of my old success literature, I think I have had around for ages and it must of just been that moment in time that, you know, I was ready for it. As they say; “when the student is ready, the teacher will come.” Well, the teacher had been there for ages. I had these books and read them but I really didn’t buy into them. I said yeah that’s a great read, but I must had been a ready student at that point because I absorbed some of what I read, and certainly not all of it; a lot of it I found really, really hard to believe.
Most of the success literature out there is pretty much telling you, have faith, believe, and this stuff is going to happen to you. At the time, I considered myself a very realistic person for whatever that means. And, reality was telling me, fine just sit around and think positive thoughts; nothing is going to change for me. So, I decided to pick the nut shells; the bits from “Think and Grow Rich;” the bits from “The Signs of Getting Rich,” and other books like these. And, just deal with them and see what happens, and interesting things did happen in time, nothing like rocket science but at the time I was thinking, wow! This is a miracle. Like the saying says; “persist and keep on persisting and you can’t fail.” Well, that’s really obvious when you think about it.
As long as you continue to take a step you are going to get there eventually and I knew this in one sense from my force’s days, but I never really considered it in terms of success and other areas of life. And, it was like all the way through these books that I was reading bits and pieces that kind of stands out in some plain yoga, and yet, I wasn’t doing them. So, I just started to apply them bit by bit and as I applied some of it and it worked; I trusted, maybe, the next chapter. Then I applied the next chapter and I would say, wow! That may fancy work as well too and I would try that and that would work for me a bit more and I say; okay what happens when, you know, reading chapter 3 and 4 and 5? What happens when you get to the next book in the series and the 10th and the 20th?
So, I basically worked my way through active valor success literature. I’ve got by most people’s standards a pretty impressive success literature library. I’ve got any author on success you can name; I’ve got some of their work. But, I guess what was a bit different for me, I guess as for many people, is; I actually, from that moment in my life, I actually started to take action on a lot of things that I was reading. I think today I mentor, as you mentioned, I mentor lots of personal trainers; I coach lots of clients and many are as well read, if not better than me. But, what it seems to do with it many are not taking action so, here is a big key for me; I learn something and then act upon it. And if you learn something and act upon it, you get to decide for yourself whether it works or not. You don’t to sit back in your own chair and go, that will never work, and that will never work; that might do. Instead, you actually turn your life into a laboratory and you are going to do an experiment with it. That really was a big chunk of my part in becoming a more successful person. You know, I still don’t consider myself an outrageous successful person; I’m much, much so then the boy that was growing up. His dreams, I surpassed pretty much all of those. I do thing, I go places, and experience things that I never really thought I would get around to doing. I was at a housing estate boy, parents that didn’t really have any money to give us those things; my dreams were, if I had them, like anybody else, they were always kept at that point what I think as reality. You know, I probably not going to go to these places and do these things, but it would be nice if I can get to some of them. Well, you know, this weekend just gone passed Kevin, and I just come back from Artic Norway and I stayed at a nice hotel and I been skiing a bit; I’ve done tons and tons of things. I’ve seen the Northern lights with my own eyes, you know? In the last few years I’ve been to Thailand ten times, Cambodian, Vietnam, Australia; I brought Danielle back a parachute, a great carol reef for my daughter, you know? I’ve done things that this housing estate boy from Ellington, according to reality, should never have been able to do. I don’t, you know me Kevin; we have discussed this. I don’t say this from a big I am prospective, I don’t think I am so great for been able to done all of those things. What I am saying is my version of reality back then never let me to believe that all these things would happen in my life. So, the big questions then becomes, what was so different then for me? The big difference is that I took action.
There is quite simply, if I could say the secret of my success to date and the secret of the success that I have been able to help other people to achieve through my programs, my mentoring, and also through other things, my books has been; I encourage people to take action.Kevin: As simple as that?Dax: No, no answer to a short question. Pretty simply, you know I can go around and tell you the ins and outs, but really, what it comes down to it. I take more action than most people. I don’t take half the action that I would like to take in my life. I believe it or not, I still consider myself to be pretty lazy in a lot of areas. I am pretty slugger; you know what? You could have done a lot more and you should be doing it. I don’t necessarily have regrets in that way, but you know, for everything I say; come on you can be doing more. I know you are that way as well.Kevin: It is an interesting point you mentioned using yourself as a laboratory and taking action. And it is an interesting way to look at your health and fitness as well. If you hear something in terms of, you know; new program or a new supplement or something; I mean, as long as it is safe don’t you think that is a great way to approach your health and fitness as well?Dax: Seriously, I think too many people, too many people précising saying; that will never work, and that will never work, and oh my God have you heard about this new supplement that has come out. That’s got to be BS because it sounds like the results are too great, you know? Or, what about these guys that are saying you can get fit in four minutes? Well, that’s got to be a lot of BS, that will never work.Kevin: He’ll be on later. [Laughter]Dax: Yeah, right. But, you know, go and try it. If you do find out to be BS yourself, then you can go; hey, that was BS and I know it for a fact. And now, that is another experiment conducted in your life that you can with some authority say, I want more of this or I want less of this in my life. But, most people don’t take the experiments seriously. They are doing their own experiments. They are sitting back and trying to live, because ultimately this is what it comes down to it; you are trying to live your life through other people’s results. You are saying, hey go out and try this and see if it works and tell me later on. And then, even when somebody comes back and tell you, you don’t believe them, you know? They would say hey it was great and you still won’t believe them. Hey you know what? One of my big philosophies in life is quite simply this; time is going to pass anyways, whether you do this or you don’t do this, time is going to pass anyways. Why not pass it finding out whether it works or not? Why not pass the time finding out for yourself whether or not this is going to work?

The Law of Attraction has been introduced by various people in the media, such as Larry King, Oprah and MSNBC. Actually, the law of attraction is a very ancient system of belief and existence. It dates back to the earliest humans, including the Egyptians, Babylonians, and even the precursors to ancient religions.
Simply put, the law of attraction states that like attracts like. This is a very simplified explanation and in reality, the law of attraction goes much deeper than that. Your very being, including your thoughts, feelings, emotions, actions and everything about you combined acts as a magnet to attract certain things into your experience. Not just physical things, but also events, people and circumstances.
There are many self-help kits, coaches and gurus claiming to be experts on the law of attraction, but in reality, the law of attraction is something that can never be fully learned by anyone. Just when you think you’ve mastered it at some level, you’ll discover a much deeper level beyond it. Also, the law of attraction doesn’t just have one rigid way to harness it. It seems that for every individual, there is an individual way to harness the law of attraction, within given parameters.
So that means that what works for one person may not work for you. Alternatively, what has worked well for you may not necessarily work for others. That’s why there is so much confusion about the law of attraction. Lots of people have found something that works for them, and think that it is the magic answer for everyone else. So when someone doesn’t meet that same measure of success, they start feeling guilty about it or feel that they’ve done something wrong. Sometimes, things just don’t work for every single person on the face of this earth. Sometimes, you have to find your own law of attraction.
One of the best known books that talks about the law of attraction is called The Seth Material, by Jane Roberts. The Seth Material was talked about by Esther Hicks as she channels the Abraham consciousness. It was also spoken about on Oprah’s XM Satellite Radio show. Jane Roberts channeled an energy consciousness, which she named “Seth” in the 60’s. Although, “Seth” does not call it the law of attraction, but he surely does explain how your thoughts and emotions create your reality. He explains how your emotions, visions, and thoughts all combine to create your reality, and how most of us create by default. We react to what is in front of us, thereby creating more of what’s in front of us, never realizing that we’re actually the key to changing that. It is a very fascinating book. It also touched on subjects that we’ve only recently discovered through quantum physics, namely the possibility of parallel lifetimes and universes. The Seth Material makes for excellent reading for anyone who is open minded about other dimensions and realities. It is also excellent reading for anyone who wants to know more about how the law of attraction works.

It’s important to understand how our body is wired in order to manifest and attract the life that we want as easily as possible. Our natural physiological makeup can literally get in the way and hamper our ability to attract and manifest those things that we want. Good habits are essential in order to attract and manifest those things you want in the shortest amount of time possible.
First of all, you need to understand how your brain is wired and gets wired. Our brains are made up of neurons, and those neurons have long branches on them that connect with and wire to other neurons. This is how the brain fires, along these neuron branches from one to the next. This is also how habits are developed.
See, as we do something over and over again, the neurons in our brain begin to connect to one another in very specific patterns in order to make that thing that you are doing easier over time. As those neurons wire together, they begin to develop a long term relationship with one another. This relationship is what creates habits.
So if you are constantly thinking and feeling negative thoughts and feelings, you begin to wire your neurons together in a long term relationship with one another that sustains that negative way of thinking and feeling. If you are constantly positive, you begin to develop a long term relationship among the neurons in your brain the exact same way.
In order to develop positive habits, you need to practice something for a total of 21 days. As you practice new habits, habits and behaviors that are not normal for you currently, you begin to break down those old long term relationships that the neurons in your brain have with one another. By constantly practicing the new habit and behavior, you begin to develop new long term relationships among the neurons in your mind.
This is where the true power, and problem comes in. If you are not willing or able to break old addictions and habits and constantly work to create and make new ones, you will never develop the positive habits necessary to use the law of attraction effectively. But developing the ability and the strength to break old habits and develop new ones, to practice something long enough to turn it into a habit, you can easily and quickly turn habits that get into your way into new habits that serve you and your goals.
These new habits begin to develop patterns and relationships within the wiring of the neurons of your brain. By practicing to think and feel positive for at least 21 days, you begin to wire your brain in a way that keeps that habit and allows you to think and feel positive without any effort at all. This is where the real power comes in, because once you develop the habit, it is with you to stay until you practice new habits to replace them.
So monitor your current habits and patterns, and recognize those habits and patterns that are not productive for what you want to attract and manifest. Stay disciplined enough to change those habits into positive habits that will serve you and your goals, and before long, you will begin to unleash your full potential and manifest the life that you want to live, because you want to live it.

Once upon a time… a defeated man was drudgery walking past an old pawn shop. His gaze then shifted to an old gun for sale – he thought seriously that this could be the answer to all his problems… to kill himself. Instead, he continues to walk into a library and begins to read books on success and motivation.(1)

 

Where does he end up? Without doubt, during his era he became “the most widely read inspirational and self-help author in the world.” (2) His name was Og Mandino.

 

Once upon a time… another defeated man was temporarily homeless. He was a struggling actor and felt as though he had almost no options left… He had accepted rejection after rejection after rejection at auditions. He then continued to write 9 screenplays but did not sell a single one.

 

He became a hermit; disconnected his phone, and did not meet anyone – and continued to write. He then moved to LA where his car blew up, yet still he continued to write. He had less than $100 to his name. He felt as though his situation was the worst it could be.

 

Then he watched the Ali vs. Wepner fight – which he said the public called a ‘joke’ – that Wepner would hardly go three rounds – yet, he went 15 rounds with the world heavyweight champion – of which very few fighters can claim. He then wrote the entire script for a movie within 3 and a half days.

 

Where did he end up? The script was for a movie called Rocky which won 3 Academy Awards & launched Sylvester Stallone’s multi-million-dollar movie career and the rest is history…(3)

 

Once upon a time… Another surely defeated man was a withering figure of skin and bones – having survived a plane crash in the Andes mountains, seeing his mother dead and his sister die and 72 days with almost no food or water in a climate where temperatures could and did easily reach 35 degrees below zero. He stood before a mountain – a mountain considered as one of the biggest mountains in the Andes.

 

Where did he end up? He became a successful racecar driver, married the woman of his dreams, became very successful in business and has delivered countless motivational speeches to help many thousands of people throughout the world.(4)

 

Once upon a time… a young African American grew up in the ghetto’s of Chicago whereby the statistics say he’d either be in jail or dead. In fact he said, “It was a good month if nobody you knew got killed. Those months were few and far between”. He became a millionaire by the age of 14!(5)

 

Once upon a time a defeated man, had just witnessed over three hundred thousand of his troops retreat to English shores… Nazi Germany defeating almost the entire of Europe. His response…

 

“… I feared it would be my hard lot to announce the greatest military disaster in our long history… But another blow which might well have proved final was yet to fall upon us… Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. The number one question we all want to know the answer to is: how do we truly get what we want in life?
We see people who seem to get everything they want so easily, and others who struggle day in and day out, not ever moving ahead towards any of their goals.
What if the struggling was, in fact, what was holding those people back?
In order to manifest what we want, we have to understand the way the Universe works. At its most basic level, the quantum physics level, we are all made up energy, and that energy is broken down into tiny particles that vibrate at a certain frequency. This is something you probably learned in high school science class, even though you may not remember it.
What’s more interesting is the fact that not only do we have cellular-level particles that vibrate at a certain frequency, but so does everything in the world. That includes the chair you’re sitting in, the computer you’re looking at, the table it’s placed on; everything is vibrating at the molecular level.
Once you understand that everything is vibrating, it’s not a far stretch to understand that things that vibrate on the same frequency attract each other. You may have seen this in science class too, or even in music class; when a tuning fork is struck, its vibrations cause other things at the same frequency, or musical pitch, to vibrate as well. If you hold a guitar up near a vibrating tuning fork, you’ll see that the guitar string that matches the tuning fork’s frequency will begin to vibrate as well, and play the same note.
These principles form the basis of the Law of Attraction, which is possibly the most powerful Universal law in learning how to manifest what we want. In a nutshell the law states that like attracts like, and things that vibrate on the same frequency attract one another.
Since everything is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, it’s not hard to believe that thoughts and emotions are energy as well. So your thoughts and emotions vibrate at a certain frequency, and attract things to them that vibrate on the same frequency.
In other words, happy thoughts and emotions attract more into your life to make you happy. Angry thoughts and emotions attract more into your life to make you angry.
If you want a million dollars, and you can tap into the thoughts and emotions that you would have if you had the million dollars, you’ll be vibrating on the frequency of someone who has a million dollars. The Universal laws then say that the million dollars will be attracted to you.
However, if you have thoughts and feelings of struggling, as mentioned in the beginning of this article, you will attract more struggling to you.
The Law of Attraction only talks about the attraction process. It’s also important for you to take action on what is attracted into your life in order to finalize that manifestation process.
The Law of Attraction will bring opportunities to you. Maybe while you’re vibrating like a millionaire, a brilliant idea comes to you that could easily make you a million dollars. Now you have to take action on that idea in order to actually manifest the million dollars.
While it may seem magical at times, the process of manifestation is deeply rooted in science. Once you understand this and apply the laws to your life, you can manifest whatever your heart desires.
