Many people are beginning to practice the â??secretâ? Law of Attraction. From corporate professionals to home care nurses, people in every profession are discovering that the Universal Laws can work for them. But what happens when it doesnâ??t work? Here are some reasons that the Law of Attraction might not be working for you and what you can do to resolve them.

The Law of Attraction â?? simply visualize for ten minutes per day, and youâ??ll have your heartâ??s desires, right? If it were really that simple, your kids would have more toys than you could fit in your house! There are several components to using the Law of Attraction successfully, and several reasons you might not be getting the success youâ??d like. Hereâ??s where some of my clients get caught up.

Visualization is just one component of using the secret Law of Attraction successfully, and itâ??s important to do it in a certain way. When you visualize, itâ??s best to do it from a focused or meditative state. You really want to be clear about what you want, so you need to limit distractions. As you visualize your new house, make sure you put yourself in the picture, and this is vitally important â?? take note of how having that house would make you feel. Maybe you visualize yourself in your new living room, snuggling in your brand new overstuffed chair in front of the fire with a cup of soothing tea. Do you see how that creates a powerful feeling? Or maybe you visualize yourself in your crystal clear pool, playing ball with the kids, laughing and creating memories. This is a completely different feeling, but still very powerful.

So, youâ??ve got the visualization down. Youâ??re ready for your dreams to manifest themselves, right? They might, but what if they donâ??t? What went wrong?

You may have some tangled energy around the thing that you desire. For instance, you visualize that beautiful new house, and you really feel itâ?¦but deep down, somewhere in your old belief system, you just donâ??t think that youâ??ll be able to afford a house that beautiful. And every time you visualize your beautiful new house, you feel a distant twinge of disbelief that works against the Law of Attraction, pushing that dream away.

Or, maybe you do believe on all levels that you can have this house, but itâ??s just not manifesting. You may be sending mixed messages through your visualizations. If one day the house is blue, and the next day itâ??s yellow, youâ??re not being consistent and clear, and what you will get may not really be what you want. Make sure that you decide what you want, then be clear on the details and stay consistent.

Are you missing opportunities? Iâ??ve had clients who have had the answer staring them right in the face, and because they had a certain idea about â??howâ? they should get that new car, they totally missed an opportunity. They decided that this car would come from a certain car dealer, and they imagined getting the keys and driving it off the lot. When one of their neighbors was left the same car in a will, with less than 10,000 miles, they put a for sale sign on the car. But that wasnâ??t the picture my client had in their mind, so they ignored that opportunity â?? which would have given them what they wanted, and at a much better price! Keep your eyes open â?? things may come to you in ways entirely different than you are expecting them to!

Faith. Faith is so important â?? keep believingâ?¦look for evidence that things are moving in the direction you want them to. Sometimes thoughts pop up in our minds that are from those old, limiting beliefs. You have to learn to push them aside. Replace them with thoughts that are consistent with what you want, with what you are using the Law of Attraction for. Realize that thoughts are just thoughtsâ?¦they are not necessarily the truth. Recognize them as just being energyâ?¦.and you can change that energy. Align all your energy with your visualizations and you will be attracting and manifesting quickly and powerfully.

Act. Iâ??ve had people come to me about the Law of Attraction â?? saying they visualize every day â?? some of them for an hour! But they donâ??t get what they want. When I ask them what their action plan is to achieve their goal, they just look at me with a blank stare. Action is important! The Universe needs you to help bring about the situations and conditions that will allow it to fulfill your desires. If you sit at home and visualize meeting the man of your dreamsâ?¦but you never leave the house, what opportunity are you giving the Universe to give you what you want? Take some steps â?? go shopping, go to the park, get out and meet some people. Donâ??t sit at home and expect your new love to drop down the chimney! Be open to inspired action â?? maybe you just feel like thereâ??s something you should doâ?¦it may not even make sense to you at the timeâ?¦you just get a sense that you need to take an action. Thatâ??s the Law of Attraction at work â?? guiding you into the perfect scenarios to make what you want become a reality.

You may have watched the movie “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. Perhaps you’ve followed the guidelines in the movie but have found that it hasn’t quite worked for you the way it has for the people in the movie. If this is the case, then maybe the following guidelines can help you.
When a lot of people first became aware with the idea of the law of attraction, they felt like they have struck gold. They learned that their every desire that they ever wanted was theirs simply for the asking. This concept is nothing short of shocking and amazing. The proof lies in quantum physics.
Before you get all intimidated, let me assure you that we will not go into any deep physics equations here. Instead, quantum physics basically teaches that there are universal laws. These universal laws affect everything, physical and non-physical. In science, we learn that everything is made up of energy. Everything, whether it’s a table, a computer, a dog, a plant, a planet, a galaxy or a human being. Everything is made up of energy. This also includes our thoughts, desires and feelings. Although we cannot see them, they are still energy. In essence, they are a type of reality that has not manifested into the physical experience.
By nurturing certain kinds of thoughts and feelings through focus, you can manifest them into the physical reality. This means that any thoughts, whether they are “good” or “bad” have the same potential and capacity to be manifested into the physical realm. The law of attraction is about understanding that whatever you focus on is what you are nurturing towards physical manifestation. It means that when you understand what you don’t want, that you wont’ focus on those things, so that you can allow more of those things that you do want to manifest.
This may sound too good to be true for some people. Many people have struggled all their lives. So many people work hard and have not had much luck in life. They think “It can’t be as simple as that!”. But take for example a car that needs a new transmission. You can work very hard digging a ditch, and you can dig a huge ditch for 5 years, but that car is not going to start running until you find a way to repair that transmission.
This is the point of the law of attraction. It’s about learning how to use our minds more efficiently to experience a higher quality of life.
When you first began to see “The Secret”, you may have started to do the first requirement of the 3 step equation of manifesting, which is believing. You may have also asked and waited to receive. And it may have worked, in a way, but not quite. Everything that you wanted didn’t quite seem to come as easy as they said it would be. Even, some things did not come about. You may have found yourself a little frustrated with this idea of the law of attraction.
You may not be in that dream house, have that million dollars in the bank, or own that brand new Porsche. So, you may have thought “Why didn’t it work for me?”. Is it a scam or did I miss something.
The truth is that the law of attraction works. It has been proven to work over and over again in many people’s lives and guess what? It’s working right now in your life. There are no exceptions. The law of attraction works every single time. There are three requirements to harnessing the law of attraction to get more of the things you want. They are not complex, and are really natural to what you’re already doing.
Before we get into that, let me explain that most of us have been steered away from our natural sense of being. We’ve been taught to make life so difficult that we have forgotten how to just be. The law of attraction is a process. It takes time to become a deliberate creator of our own life.
The very first requirement to harnessing the law of attraction is to realize that you’re starting. Just like learning to play the guitar, or learning how to drive a car or learning a new language, we all start out as newbies. That means you have to know where you’re starting point is and where your desired destination is. It means tapping into where you are right now. It also means that you are at the point in life that you’re in for a reason.
No matter what, you are always the creator of your life, whether it is by default or deliberately. Consciously, you may not understand or know why you are at the point in life where you are now, but your unconscious levels do know. Those parts have manifested exactly what was desired. Most people simply try to impose their conscious will on those unconscious levels, and that doesn’t work. You’ve got to start with where you are right now and work your way through it.
The second requirement involves allowing the law of attraction to work by articulating what you want, taking into account all levels and parts of your life. There are various segments and parts of your life. These can be called environments. You don’t just choose one portion to create in and then leave the others. You create all areas of your life at the same time. So, if for example you want a pay raise in your job, you don’t forget that you’ve also got to offer more value to your boss. You also don’t forget that you’ve got to have time for your family and relaxation.
By taking into account all aspects of your life when you’re deliberately creating, you can avoid creating conflicts that end up destroying your focus and canceling out your goals.
The third requirement is clearing the pathway so that you can have pure and focused energy flowing back and forth. Most people know that when they’re cooking there are a lot of things that need to be in place to ensure a delicious meal. You can be a gourmet chef, buy only the best ingredients, have a great recipe, use only the best pots and pants, but if you’re using a dirty bowl to mix things in, then your meal is going to be ruined.
It just won’t work. In the same way, if you’re using a mixing bowl that is caked with molded and old food (old habits, stagnating beliefs and behaviors), then whatever you try to create in that bowel will be tainted. The same principle applies in our life. You just can’t create what you want if you’re not clearing a pathway.
How do you remove some of those old blocks and make a clear pathway? One excellent way is through hypnosis or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, also known as NLP. These are excellent tools to clear those limiting beliefs and to be able to allow the wonderful new things in your life that you know you deserve. Deliberate creation is possible with the law of attraction, once you put these tools to use!

Most readers would probably have heard or read Napoleon Hill’s highly acclaimed “Think And Grow Rich”. Many people have also claimed that the book changed their way thinking and have seen their personal wealth grow.
Now then, if people can think and grow rich, then can people think and grow thin and slim? Can thinking to be thin help you to lose weight or thinking fat help you gain weight?
Since the released of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” DVD and book, the Law of Attraction or LOA for short, which is the essence of her work has swept the world by storm arousing much renewed interest in metaphysical science and new age spiritual thinking.
If you are not familiar with the law of attraction, then simple definition of the law of attraction is that you attract to you what are in your dominant thoughts and what you are focused on.
In other words, you get what you think and focused on. Of course there are more to it than just merely wishful thinking and if you want to know more, the internet is full of websites on the application of law of attraction.
Experts and teachers of the law of attraction such as Bob Proctor, John Assaraf and some others who appeared in “The Secret” explained that recent breakthroughs in neuroscience along with understanding mental laws, reveal why the “law of attraction” works regardless of whether you look at the theory from a metaphysical or a scientific point of view in a Larry King show in 2007.
Scientists have long known that your subconscious is completely neutral and impartial and it will carry out any instructions you give it by your conscious or logical mind. That means that you can use the law of attraction to attract love, to lose or gain weight, attract wealth, quit smoking or whatever you desire. To skeptics, this sounds too good to be true but to believers, there are too many anecdotal evidence that the law of attraction works without any exception is difficult to ignore.
Unfortunately, many of us are still running negative programs we picked up from others as children when our subconscious minds were totally open and impressionable, or which we have developed over the years as a result of repetition of our own negative thinking.
Yes, many of you may say to me that you have been thinking of losing weight, but is still getting fatter. You see, when you are thinking of losing weight, you are using your conscious mind, but what is your subconscious mind thinking? Here are some examples :-
a) I am fat, therefore I need to lose weight – This thinking cancels out each other. Yes, you want to lose weight, but you are also thinking about being fat. The law of attraction does not react to whether you want it or do not want it, it just delivers to you what you are thinking and focused on and in this instance, you are thinking about being fat as well as losing weight.
b) My family members are fat, so I am genetically programed to be fat – I don’t need to explain this further. It is a self limiting thought and guess what? If you think that you are programed to be fat, then you are. You won’t be doing anything to change the status quo because you will think that it is useless to do so subconsciously. Simple as that.
c) I wish to be thin – Now merely wishing is not good enough, the law of attraction will just entertain your wish. You will always be wishing and wishing and wishing.
d) It is difficult to lose weight – Then you will never lose weight because it will always be difficult for you to lose weight.
So when you do not lose weight even if you have always wanted to, it could be because of your self limiting subconscious thoughts and there could even be hundreds if not thousands of negative programming in our subconscious mind not only in the subject of physical body shape but on other matters such as wealth, health, love and the list goes on.
These negative beliefs are programed into our subconscious mind and most of the time we do not even know that they are there sabotaging us. These thoughts then become our beliefs, habits and automatic behavior.
To change your end results, you need to overwrite the negative programing and instill new positive programing into your subconscious mind. If you are getting more of the same or negative results in your life such as not being able to attract more wealth, good health or the body shape you desire, then you have probably been unconsciously running old negative programs and reinforcing them with daily negative thought patterns.
There are many techniques you can use to get rid of limiting beliefs and negative thoughts such as using goal setting, affirmations and creative visualizations.
I will not describe in detail how these methods work here as books have been written on them. However, from personal experiences, the best method is to use self hypnotism to get rid of these negative programing.
You see, instead of spending a lot of money for a hypnosis therapist to help you find out your self limiting negative thoughts in your subconscious mind and re-program new positive thoughts into it, you can now do it yourself through self hypnosis sessions through CDs or MP3s.

Have you ever met or heard of a person who is born lucky? The type of person who things come easily to. Maybe you know someone who achieves success after success regardless of the obstacles in their way. Do you know of a person who is the opposite? They fail constantly no matter how certain success seems to be. Is it just blind luck?

Some people have the false belief that there are those of us who are born lucky and those who are born unlucky. However the truth is much more interesting and you can use it to create your own luck.

Perhaps this is the first time you have heard of this. Either way I am going to show you how you can utilize this greatly misunderstood universal law to become magnetic to the things you desire.

The Law of Attraction has been called by many names – the most popular before the film “The Secret” was Synchronicity. Simply put this law is responsible for bringing us everything that we experience in life. However, it is you as a thinking, feeling conscious entity that activates this law. If you drop a stone from a great height the law of gravity will send it crashing down until it hits the ground. Likewise, if you have strong emotions when engaged in a thought the law of attraction will immediately begin its manifestation.

Basically you get what you hold in mind the most!

It is your predominant thoughts that become manifest in the world of matter. Many people try the art of visualization. Some succeed but most do not!

Why is this?

Well if you spend 15 minutes visualizing your goal and then spend the rest of your day thinking about the fact that you do not have it, you are really focused on the lack of your desire rather than on having it. Your predominant thoughts must support your visualizations.

The problem with many people who try to use the Law of Attraction is that they misunderstand two key principles. Firstly, although it is the thought that is manifested, it is not just thought that activates the law. Your emotions and feelings are the catalyst for manifestation. It is the feeling that activates the law of attraction and sets in motion the energies that will attract your desire to you. This is a vitally important point. It is how you are feeling when you think that creates the real magic.

When you combine positive emotions with a visualized scene the law of attraction goes into overdrive. Sitting for hours visualizing your goal will do you no good unless you can evoke the positive feelings that you associate with your desire. Ask yourself why you want the thing that you want. Once you have identified several reasons look more deeply into them. What is the feeling you will get from achieving these things?

Having identified the feelings behind the desire it is now easy to use the law of attraction. All you have to do is visualize yourself already in possession of your desire. Visualize the scene in a way that is clear and represents exactly what you want. Now, in your mind’s eye, see that image as though you were looking through your own eyes. See it as though you are actually in the scene living it right now. Then start to feel the feelings that you would have if that mental image were real. These emotions are necessary as your visualization will not work without them. It also takes care of the negativity you may otherwise experience throughout your normal day. The more you practise your visualization in this manner the more positive you will feel during your normal day and therefore the less negative thoughts and emotions you will be focused on.

The second reason for failure, when trying to consciously use the law of attraction and visualization is the lack of action. We live in a world that is regulated and created by thought but it is also in a state of motion. You need to take some action that will get you closer to your goal. No matter how small the action is it will add power to the forces of the law of attraction. I cannot stress this enough! We may be capable of achieving things through thought alone but we, as a species and individuals, are not yet spiritually/emotionally evolved enough to create our desires through thought alone – we are carrying around too much negative thoughts and feelings. So take some action!

For many people, myself included, it is hard to create a mental image that is clear and detailed. There are a few times when I also find it hard to evoke the emotions that are necessary to activate the law of attraction. I have found that hypnosis is invaluable on such occasions. When I am hypnotized and deeply relaxed I find it much easier to create mental images and mental movies. I also find that it is easier to get in touch with my emotions and thus evoke the necessary feelings I need to activate the law of attraction.

Follow my guidelines and people will soon by commenting on how lucky you are. However, you will know that it is not luck but merely magnetism deliberately created by following laws as old as time itself!

The 3 step Happy Manifesting technique combines mind power and imagination to attract happy, delightful, and fortunate experiences into your daily life in a way that appears to be magic. It is an intermediate to advance level exercise utilizing the law of attraction. The Happy Manifesting technique is easy to use and can be applied immediately. 1. Intend it
In order to do something, first intend it. In this case, you desire to have complete happiness so one must intend it first. I’m going to share with you a simple but yet powerful “happy” manifesting technique that I use daily that creates tremendous results. It triggers something in you like magic, that allows you to feel happy no matter what. Here’s a little manifesting exercise. Immediatelly after waking up in the morning, take three deep breaths while focusing on the rising and falling of your chest. Then immediately imagine exactly that you’re already at the end of your day and you’re jumping up and down with excitement because you had a splendid and wonderful day. Then observe the feeling of excitement that arises. Become one with that feeling untill you naturally desire to let it go from your mind. When you let it go from your mind, do it completely. It would definately help if you already have something else to focus on immediately after letting go in advance. So when you let go, you can immediately focus on something else and give it your full attention, so that you don’t consciously get in the way. This exercise works best when performing it without judging it or judging yourself in the process. I apply this exercise daily and it works wonders for me and everyone who believes in it. The key word in the previous sentence is Believe. After performing this exercise, just do what you naturally desire to do for the rest of the day. I won’t even try to explain what you’ll uniquely experience throughout the day because the possibilities are infinite. I guarantee you 110% success when applied correctly!
To give this manifesting technique a super boost, without judging the process, write down the first 3 things that make you happy as fast as possible immediately Before starting this exercise.
2. Only do what you Feel like doing
Only do what you desire or whatever you feel like doing. Be aware that there is nothing you Have to do and there’s nothing you Need to do to be happy. For the rest of the day, replace whatever you think you need or have to do with the desire to do it. Even if you don’t naturally desire to do it, just pretend without judgement. Now, just imagine yourself feeling excited upon completion of that desire, then let it go from your mind and focus on something else. One must trust in this process to experience the fruit from it. Only do what you feel like or what you naturally desire to do. That is the way of KINGS!
3. Focus completely in the moment
Whenever you’re in action of doing whatever you naturally desire, give it your full attention. The results of your desires are more fruitful when given full concetration. The beautiful thing is, whenever you’re doing something you naturally desire, you automatically and naturally give it enough concentration for it to fulfill itself because it’s something you naturaly feel like doing. Combine these three steps daily. Master this technique. Here’s a little bonus for you: A quick and simple way of mastering it is, Imagine in your head that you’ve already performed this excersise before, and that it was super easy to implement, then let it go. Your imagination allows you to see your future before time has caught up with it. No other creature on Planet Earth can picture itself in it’s own future in its own mind. We really do have the ability to manifest desires and dreams so far beyond our measure that all we have to do is picture it in it’s most crystallized form.
Imagine waking up in the morning with the tingling, soothing feeling of freedom. You walk out the front door to get the paper and you notice your dream car in the drive way. Shocked and amazed, you walk over to your dream car, open the door and you notice scattered bundles of money laid out in the passenger seat totaling $50,000.
How real did that feel? Was it crystal clear? Did you actually feel how real the car door handle felt against your palm and fingertips? What about the colors? Be clear as crystal with your visualizations and manifest easily.
Humans can easily tap into their own imagination power; not only that, but we can visualize multiple futures and decide which one to bring into reality. To manifest your desires, time is no longer a barrier when you tap into the power of vivid imagination. When the mind has a framework and a vision, it expects to realize it. You now bring into play the Universal Law of Expectation.
What you expect to happen usually does. Why? Because your subconscious mind will manifest desires and bring forth what you vividly imagine. Think ahead of time to make sure you will be comfortable with your goals if you actually achieved them. Think about the future impact it will have on your life, your family, and those close to you.
You have an unfailing force inside of you in the form of energy waiting to be released. Some Yogis refer to this energy as Kundalini, which is responsible for bizarre physical sensations, ecstasy, bliss and the phenomenal force to manifest desires you vividly imagine. Be creative and outside the box and find tools or aids such as visualization audios or software to assist you in becoming crystal clear. There are plenty of good ones out there.
Kick start your manifestations by releasing old, energy draining beliefs and install new power manifesting beliefs. Always remember that whenever you’re trying to bring into reality what you’re intending to manifest, that your desires may give birth to new but related desires that fulfills itself in order for you to physically realize your initial desire. Let that soak in for that process is super important.
Never lose sight of the goal and try visualizing the exact same thing every time in crystal clear form and include all the physical senses and colors, especially to manifest desires at a much faster pace. Visualizing vividly can take much time and effort which is the root of most giving up on the process. I’ve had similar battles to begin with.
